About the course:

This Foundation course focuses on developing the performer’s vocal skills, while at the same time developing an increased awareness of text and physicality, all three of which are essential in creating a powerful dramatic performance.

This course is for singers who want to develop the skills learned in their teacher’s studio into more theatrically oriented skills. Singers will already have completed several years of vocal study, but not yet feel ready for a full blown opera course. During the course you will work with some of the country’s best vocal coaches, directors, language coaches, choreographers, repetiteurs and conductors.

This course will give you an invaluable insight into the demands, challenges and rewards of opera and will provide an ideal basis for further study.
