Part-Time Advanced Musical Theatre Course

Advanced Musical Theatre Course

6 Months Part-Time

About

This advanced, vocational Musical Theatre course runs on Mondays and Tuesdays for 6 months. You will focus on honing your skills as a triple threat performer with daily Dance classes, Acting through Song classes, Vocal Technique and Acting classes. There are also projects to integrate all three disciplines such as the 'Swing project'. This course is designed for more advanced performers who want to finish their training or get back into the industry. The course runs alongside our full-time courses and is fast-paced and demanding. Applicants should have some training or performance experience under their belt. They should also have a reasonable knowledge of Musical Theatre repertoire.

Associated Studios have forged strong and trusted links with eminent industry professionals in both the UK and internationally. Through this close association, we understand industry requirements and have a network of dedicated and highly experienced theatre practitioners who teach you, and stand ready to offer you help and advice whilst you are studying with us, and after you embark on your career. This course ends with an opportunity to take part in our agent/industry panel showcase. Please note that participation in the agent panel week is decided by Associated Studios' senior staff at the end of the first term of the course, depending on progress. The faculty will take a view whether you are ready to 'audition' for the industry and whether this exposure is appropriate at this stage of your development.

Associated Studios take pride in developing performers of the highest calibre. You will be challenged and nurtured, inspired to work to the best of your ability. This course offers 6 months of intensive practical training in Dance, Singing and Acting, the skills required to become an outstanding Musical Theatre.
