Madeleine Walker

Madeleine Walker is an actor, yoga teacher and drama facilitator. After studying for a degree in Classics from Brasenose College, Oxford (BA Hons First Class), she went on to train on the MA Contemporary Acting programme at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (Distinction). She trained in physical theatre at Stella Adler New York and has a 200hour Vinyasa Flow Yoga certification.

Since her actor training, she has played a lead in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (dir. John Tiffany) and appeared in numerous roles across British TV, most recently opposite Paapa Essiedu in The Lazarus Project. She teaches yoga around London at Gymbox, Rise, The Bow Bungalow and Indaba online, and works with children teaching drama and LAMDA qualifications. She's thrilled to be returning to a drama school setting to share her knowledge of mindful movement and the positive impacts it can have on an actor's wellbeing and creative practice.
