Leigh Thompson

Leigh Thompson graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in Music and was soon appointed Musical Director in Residence at the Bristol Academy of Performing Arts. Theatre credits include: Sweeney Todd, Assassins, Company, Sweet Charity, West Side Story, Candide, The Pajama Game, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Cabaret and Weird Romance (European premiere).


Leigh has recently spent four years as a musical director with Holland America Line, and is a performer with the revue company On That Note. As a composer and arranger, Leigh has had works performed by ensembles including the National Youth of Choir Wales and the Sorrel Quartet. He recently arranged and conducted the original music for Beauty and the Beast at the Corn Exchange, Newbury.
