
Claire has over 30 years experience as a professional actress and singer, with a career that straddles plays and musicals, West End, national and international tours, and a healthy smattering of television credits in between.
For the past 8 years she has tutored drama students in Acting Fundamentals, Theatrical Interpretation, Text Analysis, Performance Laboratory, Sonnet Workshops and Acting Through Song at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Associated Studios, Drama Studio London, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and Cape Town’s LAMTA musical theatre academy.
Her extensive time at the Royal Shakespeare Company working with the acclaimed vocal coach Cis Berry inspired and shaped her Text Analysis teaching methods. Claire has directed Antigone, Medea, Harold Pinter’s Betrayal,and Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard and Three Sisters at RCSSD, and Drama Studio London. She is particularly interested in exploring the emotional and psychological specificity of character through the telling of their story.
