Part-time and Full-time courses

Places for part-time and full-time courses are offered following successful audition.

A 25% non-returnable deposit is payable on signature/return of the contract between the participant and Associated Studios and once funds have cleared your place is secure. Overseas students are required to pay a 50% non-returnable deposit.

The balance of the fee should be paid in full by the start of the course, except where an instalment plan has been agreed and approved by Associated Studios.

Following payment of your deposit, participants can apply to pay in monthly instalments, however the course must be paid for in full before it ends. Monthly payments must be made by direct debit on the 7th day of each month and will commence one month following the deposit payment. Full-time courses can be paid by termly instalments.

Successful applicants must provide the name and address of a guarantor (over the age of 25) to ensure payments are covered.

Failure to make the specified payments could result in dismissal from the course and no refunds will be made.

Associated Studios reserves the right to refuse admission to any person who has not paid the entire course fees in full, prior to course commencement, if other arrangements have not been made.

Once Associated Studios has issued you with a contract, participants are personally liable for all fees due. An exception may be made where a sponsor notifies Associated Studios that they accept liability. Such notification must be made in writing.

No refunds/rebates of fees will be made if you miss a class due to illness or if you are absent from the course for any other reason.

Associated Studios reserves the right to cancel a course at any time. Associated Studios will make every reasonable effort to give registered participants as much notice as possible.

Associated Studios reserves the right to amend timetables and class times as required. Associated Studios is committed to providing workshops and courses at a high level. However as coaching staff are industry professionals, timetables may be subject to change. Associated Studios endeavours to respond to the learning requirements of the participants on each course. This means that schedules and timetables may be amended to facilitate the most productive learning environment.

Where a course is cancelled, Associated Studios will offer either an alternative date for the course, a credit note of paid course fees, or a refund of paid course fees. Associated Studios shall have no other liability for cancellation including the cost of airfares, hotels or other expenses incurred. In the event of a course being cancelled once it has started, a pro rata percentage of the course fee would be refunded to cover any training not taking place.

If a student chooses to leave a course before its completion, full course fees would still apply.

If you wish to cancel your place on a course for any reason, you may request in writing that your place be deferred to a future course. Associated Studios does not commit to accommodate such requests, but, provided that there are reasonable and objective reasons (with supporting evidence) for deferment, such as illness, a professional performance or work engagement, Associated Studios will make reasonable efforts to do so as a goodwill gesture. Decisions regarding deferment will be assessed on a case-by-case-basis by Associated Studios. Should deferment not be possible, then you will forfeit any course fees paid and shall be obliged to pay any balance of course fees still outstanding on the respective due dates.

If the student chooses to withdraw their application, written notice must be received:

  • three months prior to the start date of the course to receive a 50% refund of any fees paid, or
  • two months prior to the start of the course to receive a 25% refund of any fees paid (this does not include the deposit which is non-refundable).

If you wish to withdraw after this date your full fee will still apply.

If you cancel or fail to attend the course for any reason, without the prior written agreement of Associated Studios, the full course fees are payable by you and not refundable.
